When he opened the door, he was surprised to see Fionna, her face red and puffy. She had been crying.

"Marshall! Just tell me what's wrong!" I began.
"Nothing, just leave me alone!" Marshall groaned.
"Marshall," I walk over to his now sitting form, "just tell me." I sit next to him and rub his back like I would a baby.

"C'mon! Marshall….pleasssseeee??" I begged.
"Fine. Just…… don't laugh okay?" He looked over to me, his face all screwed up.
"Okay." I was determined not to laugh—whatever it was.

Jealousy Marshall Lee was never fond of Prince Gumball. He didn't hate him; he just wasn't particularly fond of him and he wasn't sure why. "Hey Cake?" Fionna looked down at her extraordinary cat.
"Yeah, Fionna?" Cake replied in her confident tone.
"Do you feel weird?"
"What kind of weird?"
Fionna scrunched her face up, "Like, I don't know someone's watching us?"
"Oh my glob, Fionna. I thought I was the only one!" Cake's already large eyes got even larger.
"Where are you?!" Fionna whipped around looking around with narrowed eyes. "Come out and face me Scaredy Gnat!"
Then a boy about 17 or 18 just appeared out of thin air in front of Fionna. Fionna then punched the boy in the gut out of surprise.
The boy huffed until he regained his composure. "Hey, whats up with you girl?!"
"Who are you?! Why are you following me and Cake." Fionna motioned to Cake and noticed Cake was curled up in a ball, shaking behind her legs. "Cake? Are you okay?" But she only got a hiss in return. "Hmmmm.."
"I'm Marshall Lee the Vampire King!" The boy—er—Marshall, Howled in anger and made his face into
a creepy snake thing. "You must know who I am!"
"Sorry but I don't 'Marshall'." Fionna quoted with her fingers.
"Errrrhhh!!!" Marshall grabbed her around the waist and flung her up in the air. Fionna started to free fall until Marshall caught her.
"AHH!!!" Fionna thought she was still falling when Marshall Lee slapped her arm.
"Hey Human……..stop screaming or I'll actually drop you."
"Okay.." Fionna gasped, "and it's 'Fionna'."
Marshall then preceded to take her to his house cave.
